Award winning, Durham, NC–based, singer–songwriter Jason Harrod crafts intimate, narrative songs rooted in folk and blues. His live show pairs warm, unvarnished vocals with nuanced fingerstyle guitar and the kind of storytelling that thrives in listening rooms, arts centers, and sacred spaces. For December 2025, Jason is offering a special seasonal program, Out in the Fields: Songs for Winter, featuring traditional carols, hymns and his original songs. Harrod has a gift for finding beauty in the ordinary places. Through exploring his own spiritual alienation in song, he helps find connection and hope for artist and audience alike.
